"Hands down this may have been the best Popeyes restaurant in the DC & Maryland area!! They were out of soda or should I say the soda machine was just out of order ! However the sweet tea was on point ! The staff does a great job with their service the food and their cleanliness!! Thumps up guys keep up the good work!!"

"By far the best Popeye's I have visited. Usually the food isn't as fresh. What I noticed is how busy the location is which translates into fresh food. There's a difference between hot lamp fresh and fresh from the cooker, fresh. This was really good chicken. That biscuit was still a hockey puck though."

"I’m shocked by the other reviews! I was waiting for my spouse in UPS and saw a lot of people go in and out of Popeyes so I hopped out for a quick 2piece wings.it’s earlier in the day about 1130am and It was fresh as hell and good!!!!! Biscuit nice and fresh too. Service was great also. I actually like that the wings are small. It’s real chicken, not the steroid big ones that looked like they’ve been pumped up!"

"Food was great, mild chicken was devoid of any seasoning but a bit of salt and pepper fixed it. I'm still pissed off they stopped selling the Cajun Rice and the onion rings but they keep those nasty fries and mashed potatoes and gravy. Macaroni and Cheese and Red Beans and Rice are the only decent sides they have but I don't need a midday case of the Itis..."

"I was a bit reluctant to post a review for Popeyes, as it reveals my occasional indulgence in less-than-healthy food. However, when it comes to fried chicken, Popeyes is my go-to! Their spicy fried chicken is unmatched, and I have no clue how they make their mashed potatoes and gravy (maybe it’s better that way), but they are absolutely amazing."

"Staff was friendly and attentive. Ordered a kids meal and two spicy sandwiches. Took a long time to get one of our sandwiches, and one was so overdone as to be inedible though the other was perfect. Sides and kids meal were all great. Service is often very slow but the food is almost always perfect and the staff is always pleasant and courteous."
